chuck fenda official press

Roots reggae artist Chuck Fenda has the living fire. His voice and music are on fire with passion from the heartbeat of Jamaica. His songs present reality, hope and love for the people. Inspired by the ‘Conscious dancehall’ movement of late 90’s and artists Luciano and Sizzla, Chuck’s breakthrough came in 2004 with the hit ‘I Swear’ which, was featured on the VP Records compilation Universal Message Vol. 3 (VP1697) and on his debut album Better Days. Better Days did follow with the 2006 smash ‘Gash Dem’ which brought Chuck to the attention of Greensleeves Records and anchored his bestselling album ‘The Living Fire’. Fulfillment brings Chuck Fenda full circle; showcasing his lyrical wisdom on a variety of one drop and roots riddims produced by Kemar ‘Flava’ McGregor, including the new ‘Ghetto Riddim’ and hitting a note that resonates with reggae fans everywhere.

Feature tracks include; first single I Am for the Poor, and the retro flavored Bad Boy featuring Sammy Dread and Getting Serious produced by Shane Brown.
